Dear Dragon families,

I am honored to serve as your principal for the 2023-2024 school year. This year we are focused on working as a team as we are better when we work together. Dragons have the best VIEW. We value ourselves and others, are always improving with a growth mindset, empower ourselves and others by taking ownership of our education, and win as we set goals and focus on those goals. This is my 15th year in education. I began as a teaching assistant at Mountain View back in 2008. I also taught at Mountain View, have served as an Assistant Principal, and this is my second year as principal. My husband and I live in the east district and have three children.

Dragon Families,

I am excited to be part of the Dragon Team again for the 23-24 school year!  This will be my 22nd year in education - 20 years teaching in the classroom and my second year as an assistant principal.  I am a Wilkes County native, a graduate of East Wilkes High School, Elon University, and UNC-Greensboro.  My husband and I live in North Wilkesboro with our two children.  In my spare time, I love to read, do crafts, go camping, and fishing. I look forward to a great year with our Dragons as we focus on having the Best VIEW!
