A special congratulations to Ms. Christina Butler, first grade teacher at Mountain View. She received the CB Eller grant from the Winston Salem Foundation and will attend the Elevate Eductor's Conference in Nashville, Tennessee during the month of June.

Mountain View has started its annual March of Dimes fundraiser. Please send dimes, nickels, pennies, quarters, dollars, or anything else you can spare. Monies donated goes to help save mothers and preterm babies. More than 2.3 million women live in maternity care deserts where there is limited access for expectant mothers. Mountain View Drama Club will present Twinderella on March 24-25 at the Stone Center starting at 6:00 pm. The cost is $5 per person with students receiving free admission. Flower and refresments available for purchase.

Mountain View will host 3 student vs staff basketball games on Friday, March 21 at 5:00 for K-1, 6:00 for 2-3, and 7:00 for 4-5. We will also have halftime half
court shot contests, raffle drawings, and be selling concessions! Cost is $3. All money raised will to to PTO to help fund end of year festivities. During halftime we will recognize the K-2 youth Super Bowl Champs and all the sports players that represented our school in rec football, cheer, and basketball this season. Congratulations to Allie H. who will be going to the state science competition in March. She won exemplary for elementary division at the regional science fair. She also received the Display Award for how her board presented the scientific information. We are so very proud of Allie!
