Thank you and congratulations to Ms. Butler, first grade teacher at Mountain View, who represented new teachers during a meeting of the New Teacher Support Program. This program provides support to those new to the profession. This supports assists in retaining teachers in our schools. A special congratulations to Ms. Christina Butler, first grade teacher at Mountain View. She received the CB Eller grant from the Winston Salem Foundation and will attend the Elevate Eductor's Conference in Nashville, Tennessee during the month of June.

Congratulations to Allie H. who will be going to the state science competition in March. She won exemplary for elementary division at the regional science fair. She also received the Display Award for how her board presented the scientific information. We are so very proud of Allie!
