Remote Learning

In order to avoid disruption to the learning process, teachers have carefully chosen activities your child can do at home. Please remember that absences will still be counted if students do not check in. Please see your child's grade level for more information.
For Kindergarten please go to the Kindergarten page.

Remote Learning Day #2

Inclement weather makes our roads messy.  Some days we will learn from home with a remote learning day. A remote learning day means that you will do your school work at home. Today is a remote learning day.

On the board below, you must complete the top row of "MUST DO" tasks.  Then on the "CHOOSE 2" board below, please pick 2 activities to complete.  Bring your completed work back to your teacher when you return to school. This is important!

Your teacher will contact your family via message or phone to check in and take attendance. Your family will need to respond to your teacher for you to be counted present at school.  Your teacher will be available via Zoom at 9:00 am and 1:00 pm if you need help. The link will be on Remind. Have fun!

Science

Record the last 5 days’ temperatures. Which day was coldest? Warmest? What is the difference in the highest and lowest? How did temperature affect our weather this week?

I can observe how temperature impacts weather.

Social Studies

Interview a family member or older friend about what happened when there was bad weather when they were kids.  How was life different?  Tell someone what you learned. I can learn about the past by talking with others.

Language and SEL

Play "I SPY" with a friend or family member.  Take turns.  When you give clues, describe the "I SPY" object using size, shape, color, function, location, and category. I can Describe using clear attributes.

Music

Play your favorite music and have a dance party. I can move to the rhythm in music.

PE

Time for a long walk!  Ask an adult or older brother/sister/friend to go for a walk outside with you.  Make sure to dress for the weather and ask an adult.  Try to walk fast enough so that you get sweaty and need a break! I can walk outside to exercise my body.

Art

Draw a picture of how you spent your day today.  Add details to show where you were, who you were with, and what you did. I can draw pictures to tell a story.

Return all of your completed work to your teacher when you go back to school. Thank you for working hard. You are being responsible! Dragons have the best VIEW!
