Welcome Back Dragons!
Mtn. View Families,
We have had a great start to the new school year! Thank you for your patience with our car line and bus routes. Our teachers and students are working hard daily as we have a lot to learn this year! We are working on building our classroom communities and learning many new things. Dragons have the Best VIEW and we work hard to value each other, always improve, empower others to do their best, and win. We are focusing this year on having leadership positions in our classrooms and throughout the school. We will update you as we know more about our school wide communication app that we will be using. Until then we will continue to use DOJO. Weekly phone calls will also be sent out.
Thank you for your support!
Mrs. Katie Reeves
Principal
Hello Dragon Families!
My name is Christy E. Rhoades I am delighted to be a member of Mountain View Elementary School for the 2024/2025 school year. This school year will start my 24th year in Wilkes County Schools. I live in the Mulberry community with my husband and our fur babies (dogs, cats, and horses). I love being outside. I love to swim, play basketball along with several other sports. I also love to read! I enjoy spending time with my parents.
I enjoy working with students and their families. I believe in lifelong learning. I believe that all students can be successful. I am looking forward to meeting all of our dragon students & families.
