On Monday February 19th, there will be a required teacher workday. This means there will be no school for students.

Congratulations to our Media Coordinator, Mrs. Vanderheide. She received the Flettie Alifair Church Literacy Fund grant to purchase phonics readers for the library. This fund helps promote literacy in Wilkes County. For more information about reading and literacy for young children click the headline above.

Schools winners of the Mountain View Science Fair participated in the county science fair on November 9th at the Stone Center. Allie H. and Liam S. placed first and will go on to the regional competition. Vey S. came in 3rd and Colton C. take 4th place. Congratulations!

There will be no school for students on Monday, January 22. Students will return to a normal schedule on Tuesday.
