Congratulations to these teachers for being awarded a Wilkes Education Foundation grant. These grants are awarded to help teachers enhance their teaching in the classroom. Good job Mrs. Hodge-5th grade, Mrs. Pruitt- Kindergarten, and Mrs. Vanderheide- Media Center.

Mountain View is pleased to announce that Mrs. Katie Reeves will join our dragon team for the 2023-2024 school year. She comes to us from C.B. Eller Elementary where she served as principal. Please make her feel welcome as she returns to the school where she began her love of education.

Students needing to have their portrait retaken will have the opportunit on Wednesday, November 15th. Students who were absent on picture day will have the opportunity to have their photos taken. For questions call 336-696-5512.

Mountain View will honor local veterans on Thursday, November 9, 2023. The program will begin at 9:00 am with a light breakfast served for veterans at beginning at 8:15. Wilkes County Schools will be closed on Friday, November 10th for students and staff in observance of Veteran's Day.
