Daily Announcements

Options Beginning October 20th

Beginning October 20th, Wilkes County Schools has elected to move to Plan A - Students will be returning to school on a daily basis. Remote ONLY will continue to be an option for instruction. Please note that if you choose Remote ONLY, you are committing to the 2nd grading period and changes will not be made until the end of the 2nd 9-weeks (1/14/2021). To reassure parents, we will continue to social distance as much as possible. We will continue to require masks (with continued mask breaks) and daily health screenings. We will continue to clean and sanitize multiple times a day. The only real change will be students coming everyday, instead of every other day. We need responses from ALL MVES K-5 students/parents (one per family) by 10/2/2020. Thank you for submitting your response. We are looking forward to the day when all of our students are back in school together!! PLEASE CLICK "Read full story" to access the survey.

ALERT

2020-2021 School Year Information

Please read!!! Please note that if you choose Remote Learning ONLY, students will be held accountable for daily attendance, work completion, deadlines, etc. It will look very different from what happened in the Spring. We also do not know who Remote Learning ONLY teachers will be at this time. May or may not be teachers from Mountain View!! We realize that parents have to do what they feel is best for their families. However, I want every to know that we will be following ALL safety protocols, social distancing, and multiple daily cleanings. We started our Summer Jump Start yesterday! It was amazing to have students back in the building! And, they were excited to be here! Our students need to be back in the classrooms with their peers and teachers! The deadline for Remote Learning ONLY is July 31. Hope to see you soon!! (Click "Read full story" for a link to the district site)
